PUMA TITANTOUR SHOES
The idea of energy-return cushioning is making its way into golf—after suc- cess in the running-shoe market—first with Adidas’ AdiPower Boost shoes
earlier this year, and now with Puma’s new Titan Tour
Ignite shoe, which the company unveiled last week.
The Titan Tour Ignite uses a liquid polyurethane blend
during the manufacturing process to form a cushioned
midsole between the outsole and your foot. The
Ignite foam system “provides virtually unlimited design freedom in terms of shape, color and texture,”
says Puma head of golf footwear Grant Knudson. Puma
positioned foam according to where a golfer needs
comfort and performance attributes to properly support the golf swing. For more information, click here.
