Used by more than a dozen professional long drivers, Hirzl might not be well known to average golfers, but its glove technology is worth a look. The Swedish company, which also makes gloves for extreme bicyclists, has incorporated its Grippp+ technology into the index finger.
Hirzl did some research into the golf swing before its redesign of the
Trust Control glove and found that during the downswing a golfer’s in-dex-finger pressure increases. Instead of using Kangaroo Leather only
in the palms of their gloves, Hirzl is using it in the index finger to improve grip and durability. The silhouette is also new. To help with a
smooth fit, the company used cabretta leather and a mesh fabric outer.
The glove is available in black or silver gray, for right- and left-handed,
and for men and women. For more info, click here. —Keely Levins
